This is the mission and vision of Encounter Comics
Our Mission
The primary goal of Encounter comics is for people to encounter Christ through comics. It is our mission to make Christian content that is family friendly, entertaining, riveting, and most importantly God centered. At Encounter Comics we are driven to make content that allows people to encounter Christ wherever they may be at in there walk. Whether that be mature in the faith, new in the faith, or coming to encounter Jesus for the first time. We just want people to encounter Christ wherever they may be at in their life, and to enjoy quality, pure entertainment while they do so. At encounter comics you will never have to worry about what you read, and you will be encountering Christ and His heart in every book. We hope you encounter Christ as you follow the adventures of the various heroes we create just as they have in the story and as we did while writing it. Be prepared to Encounter Christ and read some of the best stories you've ever read as well because that is what Encounter Comics is all about.
The Gospel
This is what we believe:
We have all sinned and fallen short of The Glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
You see God created everything perfect, everything He made was good. Including the
only creatures made in His image. Us. Originally, it was just God and mankind. However, we disobeyed God, and brought sin into His perfect creation. (Genesis 1-3) God is perfect and has no sin, so once we sinned
we could no longer approach God as before. We we're now
lawbreakers who had broken His laws. We sinned. And the price of sin is death.
Now, we we're guilty of sin.
The problem is every human sins, so we cannot save ourselves from sin.
Example I can't pay your debt if I have my own. So we are all stuck in sin
unless God we're willing to forgive us. Thankfully He is. Instead of leaving us
in our sin God became a man and dwelt among us. This man is Jesus
Christ The Son of God, God The Son, the second person in The Godhead Trinity.
He came into our mess to rescue us. He was fully God and fully man.
Example of how this could be think a filled water Bottle. Fully plastic on the outside, fully water on the inside. He was fully flesh and blood, but His Spirit was God. (Not
a perfect example but I hope it helps explain it). He lived a perfect life, healed the sick, raised the dead, and did much more. However, we still
had a sin problem. As law breakers, someone must be punished for
the laws that we have broken. So how could God forgive us, and punish
sin? By having someone take our place. By living a perfect life, and being God in flesh. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice to pay for the sins of all. For He is God and
has no sin on Himself to pay for. So instead the wrath of God that was supposed
to be put on us, was put on Him. He died an agonizing death, paying the
price of our sin. But the story doesn't end there. Three days later He arose
from the dead defeating death, hell, and sin once and for all! And now
if we believe in Jesus and what He did, we can be with Jesus in Heaven forever. We don't
have to fear sin and death anymore because in Jesus we can have eternal life, and freedom from the power of sin forever.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
That is The Gospel The Good News. and the good news is its for everyone, and you can have that free gift of salvation today!
What we believe and How to follow Jesus
If you are curious about what we believe. We believe in The Gospel and it's power to save people from sin.
We believe there is One Way to salvation and His Name
is Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is God The Son, God in the flesh, that He came 2000 years ago
lived a perfect life, and died for our sins,
taking the punishment for our sins upon Him.
He died on a cross, then rose from the dead
3 days later. Defeating death, hell, and sin
and giving us a way to be forgiven by
God for our sin. All we have to do is accept, and believe
what He did for us on the cross, and that
He is alive after rising again on the 3rd day.
Jesus Christ is God The Son, the second person in The God Head Trinity. We believe in One God showing Himself in 3 distinct Persons- God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit, three in one. Jesus is the physical image of the invisible God, God in the flesh, so if you want to get to know God more, seek to know Him more.
If you want to know Jesus for yourself. These are
the steps I would recommend:
For starters, repent of your sins (ask God to forgive you for them and change your ways. Ask Him to help you change) and ask Jesus to be your God; Your Lord, and Savior.
Here's a prayer for you to start-
Lord Jesus. I know that I am a sinner, I know that
I've made mistakes. But I also know that You died
to save me from my sins. I believe that You are The
Son of God, that You died for my sins, taking my place,
and rose again in victory. Please forgive me
of my sins, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I
make You my Lord, my Savior, and my
God. Help me to follow wherever You lead and to
know You more and more everyday. In Jesus
Name. Amen and Amen.
It's important to know, I don't believe a single
prayer saves you, rather it's the heart behind it.
If you truly want to follow Jesus the prayer puts
things into perspective and gives you a start to your new journey with Jesus, if not then it's just empty words.
Secondly, once you have accepted Jesus as your Lord (which means you follow where He leads, His way above your own) and Savior (accepting His death for you on the cross for your sins.) then you should get
yourself a Bible.
For new believers I suggest a New Living Translation Bible as they are easy to understand, it just makes the wordage easier to read. You could also download the Youversion Bible app on any device and get it that way, but it's good to get yourself a paperback Bible as well.
Where to start? Start in the book of John, the 4th book
in the New Testament. It explains Jesus in the
easiest way, and is a great place to start your walk with
Him. Then just read the rest of the New Testament, then the Old Testament.
It will make the Old Testament easier to understand.
Be sure to set aside some time everyday to read your
Bible and pray. Like any relationship, you
won't get to know someone unless you spend time
with them. So set aside some time for prayer,
reading The Bible and worship if you can everyday.
Lastly, get involved in a good church.
This way you can grow in your walk
and find a community of believers to help you.
Make sure the church teaches: that The Bible
is The Inspired Word of God, fully true, that Jesus
alone is The Way to salvation, that God is
Three in One- God The Father, God The Son,
God The Holy Spirit; Coequal, and Coeternal.
And that when you sin to repent (to confess your
sins to God and change your ways.)
This is just a brief overview of Christianity and a
good idea of where to start. You won't get anywhere with Him if you don't pursue Him yourself.

can know Him today.

Our Vision
Our vision is that readers from all over the world would get lost in the stories we create and that they would encounter Christ in them. For every hero in these stories is a soul that Christ saved, changed and used for His Glory and the good and salvation of others. We also want to get Christian artists and creators out there who have been letting their talents waste away or slip by. This is a place they can use their talent for The Kingdom. We are not only after lost souls, we want to give Christian artists the opportunity they need to use their talents like they were born to, for God's glory and to lead others to encounter Christ and to do the same. God is still The Creator He hasn't stopped creating, so help us to share and spread our stories to spread The Gospel and to show the world that Christian content is second to none, because only Christian content has The Living God at the center of it all. This world is full of darkness especially in entertainment, we are here to bring God's light into the darkness to reach individuals who are lost and to give Christian creators a chance to use their gift to spread that light so more souls can encounter Christ and be saved In Jesus Name.
